Morrison Center's Greenhouses

Open to the Public!

We have been very busy since our move into the new facility at Chamberlain Road in Scarborough.  With two greenhouses to fill and a new workshop area, our program now has the space to meet our needs!  Our enrollment is full and plant sales have begun.

The Seedling Program is one of four adult programs at Morrison Center, and the 21 program participants (The Seedlings) earn bi-weekly paychecks by selling greenhouse plants and arts and crafts from the hallway Gallery.

Visit the Center Monday through Friday, 8:30am-3:30pm, to enjoy a stroll through our warm and colorful greenhouse. View the special orchids in our permanent collection. We havelovely house plants for sale, including our rich selection (over 800!) of orchids ($12 each) for the discerning horticulturist. 

Visit our hallway Gallery for the eclectic selection of arts and crafts available for sale to the public. Perhaps a yoga bag, painting, or a re-usable, hand decorated grocery or book bag is on your gift list. We have many to choose from!

During May and June plan to visit our greenhouse for lovingly grown geranium and annual plants for your garden. We also have a selection of vegetable plants available at this time of year, and our staff is always happy to answer your gardening questions or assist you with your choices.  Our clients will gladly help you load your car!
